samispizza.ro uses a minimal number of external resources — we explain below exactly what and why.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser, used by many websites to remember preferences or for traffic statistics. They do not contain viruses and cannot, by themselves, access other files on your device.
Strictly necessary cookies
Our site does not set its own strictly-necessary cookies — we have no user account, shopping cart, or other mechanism that would need them. We only store, locally in your browser (technically "local storage", not a cookie, but the same role), the choice you make in the cookie banner (accept/decline), so we don't ask again on every visit.
Statistics cookies — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (version 4) to understand how the site is used — how many visitors we get, which pages they read, from which area (country/city, not exact address), what kind of device. These cookies only activate if you click "Accept all" in the banner shown on your first visit — if you click "Essential only" or don't choose, Google Analytics never starts. Cookies set, if you accept: "_ga" (identifies the visitor, to tell a repeat visit from a new one, ~2 years) and "_ga_<identifier>" (holds the current session state, ~2 years). Google may process this data outside the EU, under its own privacy policy.
Other Google resources (no tracking cookies)
The site also loads, regardless of your cookie banner choice: Google Fonts (the fonts used on the page — loading them may send the visitor's IP address to Google) and Google Maps (the map shown in the Contact section — Google may set its own cookies when you interact with it, e.g. zooming or clicking). Neither is a tracking/analytics tool like Google Analytics.
How to change your choice
You can accept or decline statistics cookies at any time, directly on this page, below — see the "Your cookie preferences" section. You can also delete or block any cookie directly from your browser's settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge each have their own privacy/cookie settings page) — note that fully blocking Google Maps resources may prevent the map in the Contact section from loading.
Updates
If we add other analytics or marketing tools that use cookies in the future, we will update this page and the consent banner, before activating them.
